I was really confused about this reel and I’m looking to get the 4000 since it’s a 3000
and that leads me to believe that the 3000 is really 2500 maybe?
What was it that made you decide on the 4K?
im using a Steez the one spinning rod and honestly I do love the action of it. But i would like a 6’10 rod abs will go looking today.
I’ll have to off load some stuff

I went from the 2500 to the 3000 to the 4000 over 20 years. They reduced the size over the years and the smaller reel got lost in my mitts.

It's probably a 3000 sized "motor" or gearing, with a 4000 sized spool...that how it's been for a few generations of Certates and Daiwas now.
