That BC reel seat is pretty schuweet.
Was looking at this yesterday. They are all in on this. I’ve had mixed feelings about it from the start. Love the ingenuity/originality, but question the effectiveness. That’s why I’ve been waiting for your assessment, James. Please let us know what you think after some time with your custom build. That will definitely help me determine if I want to throw money at it.
this one is a hard sell but i am open minded
Sometimes it's best to keep the ideas on the drawing board ...
No judgements on my end...so long as it's NOT implemented on toilet paper!
The rationale behind the design makes sense, and I would love to see some data points about it. I think it is a cool concept.

It looked to me like the guides weren't aligned in a way like the line would shoot through directly. I could be wrong though ...
Mmm…. This is an old topic in some circles. Gonna write it; sales gimmick. Save for an enhanced torque transition to blank under load, via line with fish on, there is no use for this. It can do nothing but limit cast distance, distort feel of retrieve redirecting from tip where it belongs to entire blank, and stresses the guide train unnecessarily. Hate me if you want.
@one-love Thanks for the honest assessment. I was aghast upon seeing it. Spiral wrap never appealed to me either. Respect to anyone who digs it, but definitely not my thing.
design everything_
