Been eyballing making this combo for sometime, but was never keyed in on how I would utilize it. Re-immersed myself in the FL Satlwater flats game about a year ago and now am planning a Bonefish excursion to North Caicos and figured it was time. The Studio Composite 75 spin is surprisingly nimble with a soft, but sensitive tip that works down to a pretty stout backbone. Perfect for throwing live bait, shimp and BONEFISH jigs. Found a NIB 22 Exist for $425 via YJP and rounded it out with a 55mm Studio Composite handle. Stole one of my SC/Backlash carbon knobs off another handle. I don't think I have been this excited about a spinning combo in a long time!
Daaaayyyuuum!!! That's an INSANE threadline combo. Congrats!
Absolutely gorgeous, brother. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The SC stuff is just so special. Report back with some fish pics.
I’m really looking forward to reading more about that rod. Seems like a dream combo for the flats, and then some
Gotta say, it looks pretty tasty.
