Flat side Cranks

I like OSP HPF and HPF Spec II but they are harding to source.  EG Flat Force isn’t bad and I’m waiting for some baits by ICHIKAWA RC Flat Shad 65MD to come in.

I’m using the Zillion HD w/16lb Sanyo GT-R Ultra and a Daiwa Tatula Elite 7’ Omori —

When I used to throw conventional tackle, my favorites were also the OSP HPF, Its got an awesome color selection and responds very well during deflection. Its one of the best cranks nobody's heard of.

This is the ICHIKAWA RC crank I mentioned.  I ordered 2 other from a Japan vendor.  I’ll be checking this one out next time I go out.  

Nishine Chippawas need to be mentioned.

As I was looking at the bait and a little bit of the background, a Rick Clunn idea, I think it’s an updated version of the old Poe’s Super Cedar in 200, 300 or 400 series.  If he is trying to bring these baits back, I hope he tries something with the RC 100 and RC 300.

I’ll will definitely get back to you on it.

1.  Casts and runs pretty well.

2.  Does have POE “DNA”.

3.  It’s gonna be a cold water bait.

Didn’t notice any problems but I have two others so I’ll pay attention and report back.

I just got some of these from shimano.. the seem rather small but once i can i will try them out.. I am using various setups but the mb deep throat customs and pxtr is one of my favorite setups but i have the abu garcia premiere alphas combo that has met and exceeded my expectations 

i will order the ichy and hopefully get out soon
