anyone have any experience with this one ? It feels like a great little hard bait rod and possibly light jig heads. Paired it with a pixy type r but that may change until I get to try it out in spring

Can’t say I do, but that R looks nice and clean. One of only a few reels I regret selling. Should be a great pairing. Taper is faster, correct?

@rise Yes sir. Has a nice cranking rod action but I’m curious to see what else I can make work with it.

I’m hoping you try some small topwater and jerkbaits with it. Could be money for those offerings. Beautiful combo. Look forward to hearing your thoughts after you spend some time with it.
