Whelp, I'm on a kick to find a few crankbait combos since here in TN, if you don't toss crankbaits, you'll miss a large portion of the hot weather season and even the cold water season.
I'm considering this rod for 1/8-3/8 shallow to mid depth cranks, poppers, and will be using light braid + leader, and likely an OG Aldebaran MG7 with BFS spool.
Anyone have any input on this rod?

I’d be surprised if it will handle that 1/8oz range effectively, but you already know my answer…”but and try, brother”….then report back to us.
