You doing alright? Charges affecting your purchases?
The only one that really pissed me off was UPS "warehouse holding fee" of $75 vig.
I have an avail frame waiting at one of the proxy services I use. Haven't had it shipped yet due to the uncertainty of fees. There's the 15% reciprocal duty that's understandable to pay. It's the aluminum/steel one that's still unclear to me. Based on HTS 9507.30.60.00 it shouldn't be subject to it, regardless of content, correct? If it is subject to it, are we paying the couriers since they eat that cost upon receipt of package which in turn is passed onto us the consumer?

UPS didn't eat squat for me! The used it as an opportunity to pile on a warehouse fee of $75. FedEx has been the best so far.
I try NOT to be political in situations like this, so I'll just say the Big Business types who off-shored so many American jobs over the past 40 years in the name of "Free Trade" should be paying through the nose for this shit!

Totally agreed.
What did you order that incurred that fee? Have you ordered anything else since?

2 Steez rods, a Top Gun and a 7' Real Control crankin'
2 groups of lures, 1 heavy on Chinese stuff like Jack Hammers and RAID stuff and another light pack of more JDM stuff.
The Top Gun was the high $$$ one. That's the one they hit me for warehouse space @ $75.00. Fortunately, the Top Gun is getting to be a fave.
So I was having mine delivered via UPS. I got a message saying I needed to pay $120 on a packaged valued at $75. And that if I didn’t pay they would return it and it would go to collections. So I paid via PayPal. I never got an invoice or anything showing me the breakdown of why I was paying that much. So I called and got a email address. After emailing my concerns I received a very generic email back. I emailed back asking for an invoice and a detailed breakdown of my charges. No response. So I emailed a few more times and waited over a week with no response. So I filed a claim with PayPal stating that I was forced to pay for a “service” with no explanation or invoice. PayPal opened a claim and refunded me immediately. After no response from UPS they closed the case on the 27th and forced UPS to refund me. Just my experience with this stupid muddy water broker tariff situation.

Good on you! Maybe I should do that because the UPS charge came out of nowhere, no discussion and out of the blue and PayPal.
Thanks for that.

Just tried PayPal. I ain't going down the merchant road, UPS stiffed me, not the vendor.
Personally, I always had an inkling (suspicion) from the very beginning, that shipping services would find a way to extort illegal and unwarranted fees under the guise of tariffs and duties, warehousing, etc.
