Just wanted to announce 📢 that we are making some changes to the forum.
This is phase two of revisions, which will consist of simplifying the forum overall. We will be integrating some of the less active sub-forums into “main” categories, which can then split off from there however you (the users) see fit. The objective is to make Tackle Porn easier to use and navigate. As always, we are very open to suggestions, so comment below with any other ideas/things you’d like to see added, removed or changed.
Thank you guys so much for being a part of this community. Some incredibly valuable info and resources here. Let’s keep it goin and growin. 👊🏼

Simplification is always a good thing. But what to do? Unless you’re thinking Reels, Rods, Baits, Tuning, Techniques, type of straight up simplification probably not much sense in eliminating me thinks. Just throwing it out there.
But I wonder if a review section might gel with the masses? One general section for ‘Review’, see where I’m going here? One general section for members to share or inquire via experience and/or intent, but not for sponsor or product promotion.
Unless a sponsor, or manufacturer representative or what have you, as an active member only, wants to post an honest review then that would be cool. And likely debatable is my guess but whatever. Hype and sales pitch nonsense would be sniffed out quickly though. By a high percentage of us. Heartfelt feedback, earned through experience, or simply an inquiry thereof is fair, all must be kept on point lest this place turn brown nose where everything is peaches and cream. Which we’ve seen happen elsewhere. To hell with money, that’s not angling, that’s selling. It’s a delicate line bro…

More discussions happened today with the developer about simplifying, yet expanding/growing the site’s reach and content. I’ll keep everyone posted. 🙏🏼

There will be much more time spent focusing on this endeavor. That said…If you haven’t already, please spread the word about our humble little forum. Even though I’m incredibly grateful to have such an amazing group of enthusiasts here and love what this place has become…I’d really like to see more growth.
Regardless…I’m hoping everyone will like the changes that are coming.
