I was fondly reminiscing about the OG Pixy days, hitting the 10 oz mark with a BFS UL rod was the deal.

Today, it's a bit different with some of the available JDM offerings.  This Yamaga Blanks Blue Current III 82B is an 8'2" 2-piece rated up to 20 grams, and has 14 Fuji SS Sic guides.   The 2020 Alphas Air TW factory KTF spool has been swapped out for a (now difficult to procure) Rays BFS deep spool, aftermarket CCC and handle nut, and upgraded the handle to an Avail.

This combo is a beast power mag-finesse combo for anything from 3/16 neds to 5/8 oz lipless and 6-10 foot cranks.  For 1/4 - 3/8 oz topwaters it's a blast, same for 1/8 - 1/4 oz mini chatters, cranks and squarebills.

When I lived in NJ, the Megabass 5'7" "Reservoir Dog" w/silver Pixy was my "Pre-BFS" outfit.
