Is this Daiwa's attempt at competing with Shimano's DC brakes? Just what we need, a finicky Bluetooth connection on a reel! Imagine missing a bite because of it! What a joke.

OMG YOU HAVE TO CHARGE A REEL NOW? THE PLANETARY ASYLUM SPINS EVER STUPIDER.

Half way there…100 size, 34mm…now give us a non-Bluetooth/rechargeable 3-D braking version and take my money.

psssh- half way? We need more than that. I need a wi-fi hotspot, V-Tec, step counter, calorie counter per cast, and a fishing hot spot navigation.

As I stated so tastefully before on the Daiwa Limit Breaker post:

"In regards to electric toilets...they serve their purpose quite frankly to its creator animal species that must naturally defecate in order to survive.

This said, these thinga-ma-bobs do not typically run out of poop-flushing power in less than an hour nor does it require a digital app in order to properly flush said dropped poopy.

My "Far Side" contribution for da day..."

@rise spool diameter is 34mm, width is a tad bit bigger though per their literature. 😭

This reel would be so badass and would likely have a bigger market with just an updated Mag 3D.

Agreed…They’d sell a shit-ton with an update to 3-D braking and this profile. I really like to understand why they did away with the 3-D in the first place. I very much enjoy it.

Guess I should’ve read everything instead of just skimming through it…😓

It's all about marketing, controlling market demand, and ROI...Mag 3D would make obsolete so many of the braking and spool variations in the Tatula and other Daiwas.  That's my insight and conspiracy theory.
