Hey Sorry for the delay
I will post this evening when I get home
but I will say that I just Ran across this video which was surprising
Yeppers...that's part and parcel to all micro gearing designs...this was brought up by many peeps in the RC racing field and Musky forums (many years ago when Shimano MM was introduced) as to why they would not choose MM designs for hard torque/heavy work. The first 2012 Antares HG I picked up has a tiny "click" in the exact same spot during rotation, it's definitely due to a gear tooth/teeth damage. I already have an extra set on hand. My second 2012 Antares HG gears are still good, but that reel was seldom used by the original owner....I'll swap in the lower 5.6 set into it eventually since that big diameter spool with still pull almost 26 IPTs with the 5.6.
FWIW, in my hands, my 2019 Morethan both with the original 8.6 C6191 or duralumin Zillion 8.5 gears, has more cranking power than the 2012 Antares HG 7.4.
My nickel's worth.
