Specs line up perfectly for my preferred style of fishing. 

Rod sleeve/packaging is the nicest I’ve seen yet and the additional, functional rod protector is a nice touch. Styling/aesthetics have gotten better and the cork main grip is what I’ve been waiting on from the newer Gen. Gripes?….at this price point, although I’m nitpicking, put a nice laser engraved butt cap on the rod instead of the cheap, unembelished EVA nub that they call a rear grip. Everything else is on point, IMO and I’m excited about this one….truly.

Is this "Real Control" line up replacing the discontinued Racing Design?

still the pictures of the 73h-SV ST Real control are great..

may have to give up something to get one.. or not.. and just get it..lol

As for me, I had family in town this past weekend, so I could not get out on the water. Hoping this coming weekend allows me a day of testing.
