OG Still DA KING

"I am currently repairing a buddy's 2021 Zillion G that had both the main & pinion gears and idler gears (worm gear & worm shaft gear) damaged by a small hard particle. The particle did break down and wedge into the teeth of both the main and idler gears, and I found it very disappointing, how small and soft the plastic teeth on the worm gears are. Yesterday I also opened up and greased my newly acquired minty J-Dream 79R and SV103XH, and the difference in main/pinon gears and especially the all metal worm gears (both with much bigger teeth), was staggering in comparison to the "modern/improved" Zillion. Not to mention even simple parts like the yoke posts."

BTW, member Slazmo from Down Under just picked up an excellent condition Zillion 50th for $60 AUD!!!  Friggin' nutz!

I saw you pick up that J-Dream on TT the other day, congratulations friend! AND I whole-heartedly agree, OG is still DA KING!

Yeppers brother.  I asked the same seller if he had any SV103s, and lo and behold, he had two, one barely used SV103H and an unused SV103XS.  I snapped both up immediately.

Also, I picked up a silver perforated HLC spool from the same seller and it now rides on the J-Dream 79R, and surprisingly casts 3/4 + baits very well with 20lb Izorline Platinum, and I can even drop brakes down to 4-5 and still have spool speed I can control well with my thumb.

STUNNING COMBOS! That 103XS is on my unicorn list! 🤣

They are difficult to procure and most peeps won't let them go.  I converted the SV103HL in the first set of pics to an 8.0:1 with a gear set from The Tackle Trap, and I also have two 6.3:1 LH gear sets for backups as well.

Another minty OG.  That rod is a custom 7'4" St. Croix 78MHM with about .70 oz butt balancer weight.  Swapped in an Ian tuned Steez SV105 spool and an SV103 drag star.

EAS sideplate, carbontex, polished internals, Alphas brass 7.2 gears, OG Steez 103 Type R+ spool,

92mm ZPI, shaved star...until I can get another I'ZE Light in the arsenal.

Thanks brother...no where near your collection, and I use all of mine regularly.  No shelf queens in my arsenal.

Swept CF handle and OG corks looks killa on the CVZ Millionaire platform.
