That rod is awesome overall in build quality, and for so many techs, to include frogs, so long as you're not in real heavy cover.  For flipping, it's a little short and bit too fast for my tastes, but it may work for you.

The taper is straight up FAST, and it is a lively tip that hits a heavy powered backbone quickly.  

@dragon1 thanks. What other techniques do you use it for.

Bigger single hooks, like 3/8-3/4 oz jigs, 1/2-1 oz spinnerbaits, 2 oz max A-rigs, toads, 5-6" beast hook paddletails/swimbaits.

In my hands, it had superb sensitivity for the wide power rating, as good as a like model in the Steez AGS and probably just slightly behind the NRX+.  You likely won't be remiss of detecting what's going on with your presentation and a fish taking your offering.

People are gonna have different preferences for this rod. It’ll do a lot of things, but some MUCH better than others. 

For its stature, it’s incredibly light. I would describe the taper as leaning towards a faster, medium fast. I personally,would not choose to use this rod for frogging unless it was more open water or sparse-med-light cover scenarios. Definitely not a heavy mat/Lily pad stick. I do agree that it’s incredibly versatile and sensitivity is outstanding. What @dragon1 said is pretty much on point in terms of its versatility… it can absolutely do many things very well. For me over the years, I’ve had a lot of fun pitching with it and close quarters, throwing heavy spinnerbaits, single hook swimmers, and throwing mag wacky/neko rigs (10”+ worms). It’ll do great for pitching to cover, but if your sole intention is froggin and flippin with heavy weights, I’d sincerely recommend looking at other rods.
