2nd time’s a charm, right?

Some of you may remember a certain painful experience I went through some time ago. I acquired a brand new Semi Order Limited Edition Designo Leggera. A truly upper echelon stick that I was incredibly excited to get/fish. First time out with it, 3rd cast…caught a fish. 4th cast…rod snaps at the handle. I was heartbroken to say the least, and while Kamiya San was willing to replace it for me, I wasn’t able to get the proxy/store to cooperate, so it was chalked up a very expensive, nearly 1000.00 loss.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, and the opportunity to grab another (this time used) presents itself. Now, I swore I wouldn’t risk it again, but the tackle Gorilla on my back wouldn’t shut up, so….yeah….this very rare Semi Order Designo Leggera DL7-C611MH+ RS4 Performance has joined the stable. All black trim, full contact stealth-style seat, multi-axis carbon trim throughout, Torzites, both grips are cork (another rarity as the rear grip is usually EVA) and the best part….a spiral wrap (most are conventionally places guide trains). You just don’t see a lot of these wraps anymore on semi orders, so I’m extremely happy with the addition. Very anxious to get it out on the water.
