JDM Daiwa Steez Real Control 6'11" casting

I remembered there was a previous review of the Steez Real Control 6'11" MH casting.  I won't be reading the other one until after I do my own shakedown cruise.

First impressions, EXACTLY what I was looking for.  Topwaters, jerkbaits, small shallow cranks.  Not a lot of topwater action yet but I had the new MB 110 SR and that should be another winner.  Back to the rod, light, long casting, works the bait well.

This is my 4th "Real Control" and Daiwa truely upped their game performance-wise.  I understand people are a bit underwhelmed with the aesthetics.  Personally, I'll take flavor over flash.

Okay, finally had a LOT of time with this rod.  Today 4 LMB, 1 a bit over 8 lbs, 1 about 3 1/2, 1 about 2 and 1 about a 1 3/4 lbs.  All on the Evergreen One's Bug, A II reel.
