Raven came in today and its been outside my door most of the day
that was misery to see it at work..lol Still I just finished the dishes and cleaned the kitchen.
Wifey belly is full and now I can mess around with this rod. I will say, i had to pay unexpectedly once it made it through customs.
I think i was going to use this rod for Fluke style lures like the zoom 6" super fluke. Got to get on the water but I will be good with the bank.. too much going on. This year has been rough but we carry on smartly
Nice pick up. Let us know what you think of it. Always wanted a Raven of some generation and the newest one seems the most versatile though not necessarily the one best suited for bottom contact. We all have our styles and preferences so let us know what you find the rod excels with.
Oh yea and post some photos too! Preferably with a reel without mismatched knobs 🤣

ha ha.. I get it . My daughter used to purposely wear mixed matched socks. It would drive me up

Weekend has not went as planned, had to leave work early on Friday sciatic nerve pain got so bad i wanted to cry. No lie left leg was weak so i went to the ER
they got me feeling better real fast. Like REALLY fast. than I get home and had to start working on these ladder shelves and that took til midnight. TODAY had to get her a new stove ( the old one still works great!!! ) put up a light fixture in the laundry room. Wired in a receptacle a few minutes ago, its right but its up side down. NOW at 2206 I am working on installing a garbage disposal.
But i'll get you guys some fresh pictures just keep in in your prayers because i know maintenance and I am a man, but I am not the Maintenance Man...lol

As embarrassing as it sounds, I feel sorry me..lol
So i got out on the water today and after exhausting the hard baits I caught one on a drop shot
litter hit him in the head and he bit it. but I got into 13-14 feet of water with the water temps 46 degrees. Throwing from 13' into deeper water Fishing a Raid Japan Cutt Swing ( added more to my cart as I am writing this up. ) i was getting hit and the Raven was telegraphing everything. I dont ever want anyone to waste money on my opinion but this is one of those special rods. I learned to slow down in fishing and this rod is certainly one for slowing down but I can see it as crazy as it sounds for top water and even jigs. I was able to detect bites from a long distance and in deep waters.
I had a great bite but i think either they had the tail or im just lazy cause I was sitting down after a long cast trying to set the hook. Before i left the water i contacted M and asked for another rod
