I found a minty specimen of this very model, which should be arriving next week. Late to the party, bey hey. I was excited to see it come up and I'm even more jazzed after your write up. 11 Designos currently reside in the stable and while I still haven’t fished a couple of them (the two pictured below), I have thoroughly enjoyed the other 9 thus far, so I can’t imagine being disappointed by the two most recent additions. I’ll have to post a family pic sometime soon. Have a few more I’d like to add to the stable. The Designo Family of rods is vast, with a ton of options out there.
@rise I looked after I posted initially and it’s not quite yours. I’m pretty sure it’s the DV6-C71MR. So, a level below yours. At the price point I scored it, it makes sense. Sight unseen purchase of course. I’m beyond excited about this surprise score.
