Slated for March release. Looking very similar to the Z2020 if you ask me. Just like cars, they are all starting to look alike… Not that it’s horrible or ugly, I’m actually kind of digging the somewhat retro vibe with the handle nut cover.

Yeppers, my first thoughts as well is that there is a lot of Z2020/Z200 on the hood design.

The Z was so ahead of its time in my opinion. This 2025 antares caught my eye because I never had an antares that I didnt like..lol

Agreed on the Z. I think Daiwa also priced it just a bit above what would’ve been an acceptable number for the time. I also strongly feel that if they had made a smaller version, it would’ve greatly helped the sales of the 200/2020.
Given the Quality/Engineering of that reel, I still feel like they were worth every penny.
