@kickerfish1 I actually love the color. I was about to jump on an IS 61 in illusion green a few years back at a store in austria, but the guy wanted 600 Euro (700+ ) USD at the time so I held off. Eventually I ll get the 103 TD Ito next year which should fill the void lol.

Sure seems like a lot and I totally get it. I think as time passes the value and rarity will only increase. In my opinion a mint ITO 103 would fetch $350-400 in stock form. A new in box specimen likely $400-500. A really nice shape one with maybe a small mark or two I would say $275-350ish. Anything with some marks or a spot of rash under $250. So to obtain an ITO should be a good deal cheaper than an IS illusion just not as rare.

@kickerfish1

Bro, I obtained my current fully Ian tuned TD-ITO (with your help and guidance about a year ago) with box and papers, with only one small mark in the paint for $200.  Granted sans the Kanji cork knobs, still I believe it was an excellent value, especially since he upgraded to 6.3:1 brass gears in it and gave it a full polish and tune.

This same reel today with some of the accessories I have added and it's continued lack of availability in tbe market for clean specimens, has appreciated quite a bit.  Regardless, I have no plans to sell it as it is one of my favorite all around reels for so many techs.  Also, a Megabass Finesse spool in this reel is incredible and casts 1/8 oz Neds and 3/16 topwaters and 1/8 inline spinners with ease (with lighter 10 lb braid), while still launching 1/4-3/8 topwaters and cranks/lipless.

@triple_illusion - beauty Ito, Adam.

Agreed, the TD-ito does everything so well, I just wish there were a 7.1 gear set for the RH model.
