Custom Swimbait rod build on Phoenix Blank

Friggin' schuuuweeet Jorrick!  I love Matt's work, one of my all-time favorite all-purpose moving bait rods is an Otterod.

It’s so gorgeous but I have to fish it.

That grip, though…beautiful build. How’s the balance with that Z on there and what’s the rear grip length?

balace is perfect. I tried other reels but feels better with the Z and the Z doesn’t feel bulky like on some reel seats. 

16-1/4 from the front of the forenut 

11-1/4 from the back of the reel seat 

It makes fishing big lures feel small 

Outstanding, enjoy it. 

WOW Jorrick that's just gorgeous with the Z on there.  What knobs are those on the Z?

@dragon1 Thank you.. I am not sure what knobs they are. Its not the ones I had intended which are the whiplash factory knobs.  These were given to me and so I just was trying them outl... I'll look into who makes them.
