Does anyone have hands on experience as to how low this spool will handle, and is it a noticeable upgrade versus the 200A wiffle spool?

Lol...yeah, this reel is not all that popular anymore, but I like tinkering with OG rods and reels. I had it out today wading the West Stones tossing a Giant Dog X on my Gen II Mahogany blank GLoomis CB845 custom built from circa 2001.
It was a gorgeous day out there.
