I know I’m stating the obvious, but that new slp millionaire just seems like the ideal match for this rod.

Shot my shot, picked up the holy grail. Was going to post this on TT, but I believe they are starting to think I'm too gluttonous. Now this new in the wrapper baby just has to make it home to daddy, with Buyee as my pelican.

Things are getting a little slow around here mid-week, so I figured I would spice things up a bit.

Just installed my I's Wood Sita Stag knobs on the Conquest BFS, which is loaded with impossible to find Lime Stream and Country .8 PE. Accompanied by a I's Wood Sitka Stag landing net and a custom paited rod tube. Anglo G411 in the backdrop.

I've aquired an obnoxious amount of trout gear from Japan since I last posted, but I'm really liking this recent combo I put together so I figured I would post it. It started with the aquisition of a Anglo Paragon G511, which is the bigger brother to the G411 I bought last year. Two plus year wait to aquire the rods from a dealer currently. Obviously, I bought on the secondary market.  I almost picked up a gold Abu 2500 to pair with it, but then came across a deal on a NIB 2001 Conquest 50. Of course I had to upgrade it into a trout machine. Primary use will be 4-6 gram handmade balsa's on slighly bigger trout waters (think Montana). Took it out today and it was like drizzled honey, smooth and sweet.  Anyhow, enjoy..

Thank you sir, I'm really happy how it turned out and at about 1/3 of the price of another full avail Abu. I was worried about having a centrifugal brake, but it works great so far and the micro click adjuster is pretty impressive and functional. All tricked out, I think it will keep up with the 23 Conquest BFS all day long. Hope to get on some trout with it this weekend!
