if its not home work it's homework. But work and the kids ( daughter is home for the summer from college) even though they are gone they keep pulling on our pockets aside from that i have just not found the time. I pray that my day comes soon

Hmmm…. sacrifice. That is your answer. Many of us have taken time off from our taking time off. Speaking of which, we’ve all come back more beat down than when we set out. Ironic, isn’t it? Often don’t have an answer. Often don’t care. But I am OUT. Be back around ‘this’ time, and if not, deal with it. I don’t have time to be stressed about being stressed out fishing. Too stressful, I won't have it...

I feel you…really feel you. I’m so caught up in what’s been going on with my son that it was REALLY tough to enjoy a week out of town with in-laws and other family members. Although, I got to experience some amazing, yet very limited time fishing from a Kayak (I’ll share on that later). That said…All I want to do is get lost on the water for a couple of weeks, reset, finish some write ups/articles and enjoy some of the many items that have been delivered, tuned or built.
Family first, always…without question, but self care is a must as well. We need to do things for ourselves, we deserve it and it’s a crucial part of our well-being. I hope you get some of that time soon, my friend. I truly do.
