Got a fat girl to come out and play today. 9 lbs 6 oz. She whacked that buzzbait so hard, it sounded like a cinder block got tossed into the lake! I lost one that was 11+ from the same lake about a month ago, standing in almost the same spot, and on the exact same buzzbait. This one wasn't gonna shake it, though. I had her right in the thick tissue in the corner of her mouth. I had a hard time turning that hook back out.

I was actually using a 3 piece Falcon Lowrider "Traveler" 7'MH and a Smoke 150. That's my stash combo I keep in the truck, just in case. 20# Sufix Siege mono spooled up and a 1/4 oz strike king tri-buzz with half a white zoom lizard as a trailer.

Country Boy ingenuity strikes again!!! Superb work Tim...and my bet is that this is the same fish, post-spawn. I recall when you touted picking up that 3-piece Lowrider, and the Smoke, well we will keep da noise down in respect to TP and Greg. 😁
