First I’ve seen of these. Very nice…officially on the short list. I can imagine the fall is near horizontal?

I used it on the Deps bull flat and all baits like that. The implementation to your toolbox is very beneficial. When fishing grass shallow or deep I’ve gotten bit and I’m learning that I don’t get hung up at all.

Depends on the weight. There are different weights that can be used on any hook with the eye like in the picture. BKK makes a hook and sells them together but I have found any hook with a screw lock keeper can be used. I have used them on swimbaits too and they come through cover really easy. The weighted keeper has what appears to be a piece of mono in it the keep the bait from coming off even in some of the most violent head shakes.

Very cool, thanks for sharing!

Are you able to throw the fluke style baits on baitcasting gear? Bullflat is heavy but the flukes can be quite light and I either get very little distance or an eventual bird’s nest with violent casting… Maybe I’ll weigh them a bit like you are showing.

Thanks!!

I'm able to throw the O S P DoLive Stick 3.5" and 4.5" on the Steez 6'10", 6'8", 7'3" and RAID Japan Baltoro II, King Heavy and Diffuser with no problem.  Unweighted or w/nail weight.

I’m not a fan of BKK. But, that is a brilliant idea. Nail weights get expensive after a while and that’s a good way to keep them.
