Nice to come home to some stuff.
Small mail call.
Few more rods including a couple of solid tips.
F3 63ST Hedgehog…Looks to be new old stock. Can’t find a mark on it or any grime…anywhere. Finding this version in this condition is pretty cool. That silver/Pearl tip section, the stealth reel seat, that fore nut and the thread work…love everything about these builds. Oh how I miss the MB of yesteryear.
Minty RAID Maxx Bishop. 6’7” solid tip. I’ll be honest…not crazy about the oversized “MAXX” logo on the side of the seat, but I can’t let that sway me any longer. Have to give em a shot as I’ve always been a big fan of the Gladiator Technix line.
And of course…another X7 Extreme Mission…😬
Other stuff:
Some Studio Composite love… I’ve been wanting to try out their Full CF fish grips. These things are absolutely stunning/well built. Honestly, I’m incredibly impressed.
Gan Craft x Kakusen-EN Collab Shift 183
Gan Craft x Gee Crack Ltd. collab 178 and 128
D style x Hama finesse crawler
Daiwa 99’ limited crank and lipless (number 2)
GC S song 115 SS
Itö Shiner and a mix of some other MB lures.
Thanks for lookin.
Studio Composite just understands carbon fiber so well! Beautiful mail call!

Couldn't agree more. Especially when it comes to handles...Everyone is on that Varial Hype train and I just don't get it. The SCs are much lighter, stronger and functional IMO.
@rise Varials are SUPER Heavy, they don't warrant the price they ask for there handles imo.
Nice Mail Call!!!
I've pretty much fallen in love with the Varial knobs. The handles are sturdy and strong. But yes, pretty heavy and the price takes a hit to the wallet every time.
Always learning...

Love the knobs as well, just can’t get past the weight/price for an aluminum handle with as liitle machining/engineering as the Varials utilize, IMO. The weight throws balance way off on lighter reels, and for the money, I personally prefer CF for its durability, looks, and other characteristics.
Varials are manufactured by the same company making Livre’s offerings (Megatech), which in my eyes are worth the asking price for what you’re getting. Aesthetically, they are much better looking than the Varials, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I very much understand different strokes for different folks.
I’m also a big fan of the New ZPI- Zelos Core handles (also manufactured at the same facility as Livre). They are sexy/unique (IMO), light and I’m a big fan of the ZPI knobs.
