That’s one of the reasons it intrigue me. I look at it like a Steez ex because it takes the OG zillion spools. I plan on trying it with iźe PE spools and the IP79 or JDream spool.
but I will give a report soon as I get it

Steez HLC and valkyrie Heavy 7'1" is a marriage that will not be broken.
I threw I-Jacks, 5.8 bull flats. Gan Craft killers 1/2oz Spinnerbaits and jointed claw 178's
The reel is a rocket shooting machine and it took me a while to get it dialed in. I was making pitches and was getting major overruns. its like the spool didnt want to stop spinning and that was with a 3/8oz lure with a little ez. It will put a big bait in orbit with little effort. I eventually went to a weightless 5.8 bull flat and it did well with little to no adjustment of the mag dial but honestly the handle is the failure
well to be honest the handle and the drag star for me. Its like they were after thoughts.
The handle is far too short and the drag and handle are both just black.. nothing just black. Im using 20lb seaguar red label because thats all that was on the shelf. The reel came and i took the spool out only to wipe the spool bearing out with alcohol and than a dab of speed lube or whatever that lube is.. i have to look again
initially the spool would spin much in my hand by just holding the bearing but after a bit of alcohol i was able to get exactly that effortless spinning and after it dried out I added a small dab of lube. Steez HLC is a winner in my book, instantly felt the difference in casting.

Of all the Megabass rod offerings, I think the Valkyrie is the most elegant and spot-on in terms of visual design. It has that elegant flow, where form intersects with function. This series has always intrigued me.
Looking forward to more pics...

I love the U.S. Trail.
but I am loving the Morethan so much so I brought Morethan I should. 😂
got the 7.1:1 coming and although I have to wait a month or so I have an issei 36 mm spool coming.
i ended up with the high speed Morethan on the Topgun rod. The Steez hlc had to go on a practice rod for now.
been a rough weekend. Worked on everything but fishing. Looking forward for to the next opportunity

I received a used excellent condition Morethan 1000 PE SV XH last week, I've been so impressed I just procured a very lightly used 1-owner 7.1 SH...I feel ya Bro. This Gen Morethan is very deserving of being the prodigy of the current Steez/OG Zillion merger.
