My Daiwa RC Steez came with 2 rod sleeves. The normal one that zips up and a shorter one. What's the scoop? This is a different rod but same idea.

Would the shorter one fit the rod if it has a reel on it? Maybe one is for the rod locker and one is for travel / storage if there is no reel on the rod???

I think that's what it is. I went through a lot of pictures and that's the best I can figure. I may call Daiwa Corp in CA tomorrow because they did release some of these rods at the Classic this past year.

The shorter one is to cover the blank only. They sent the same with my Real Control.
