Had a bit of a scare today when the DHL van showed up at my house. Guy tried to leave the broken shipping tube by my door and sign for the package himself. The rod was wrapped in bubble wrap and put in one cardboard tube, that tube was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a larger cardboard tube. Both tubes were bent and almost ripped in two. Somehow the rod survived and I can't find anything wrong with it except a couple spots on the cork grip I couldnt see in the pictures (grip was very far away from the damaged section of the tube)
Anyway, finally picked up a spiral wrapped sedition Cristobal. Not the limited model but I'm happy to be able to try one out.
Gorgeous combo, brother. I love the Cristobal Ltd I own, so much and was fortunate enough to find a couple more, recently. They are on their way. Would love to hear your thoughts when you get some water time with it. The tip section is magic on this stick.

Thank you. I've wanted one ever since the first time I saw it in one of your posts on Tackletour.
I like the look of all of the sedition rods but the Cristobal just jumped out as the one for me with the weight range and I'm a sucker for spiral wrapped guides on a finesse rod. I needed a rod for this reel and when I found this Cristobal for sale it just seemed right. Too expensive but I've only been able to find 2 over the last couple of years and neither were the ltd. I don't think the other one had spiral wrapped guides either.
Feels good in my hand balance wise with the alphas and seems to have the action I want so it could easily become one of my favorites once I get it out on the water.
I'm going to have to try harder to find the ltd. Every where I look they are out of stock lol. I can find other sedition rods like the hooligan and the bloody but not the ltd Cristobal for some reason.

Only 50 of the Ltd. were made, according to Sendo. A couple popped up in small shops over seas and they had to be grabbed quickly...unicorns, for sure. Regardless...You're gonna love that rod. ENJOY!!!
