Recently added this Alphas Air 7.2 to the collection for a nice tune/build and some great finesse fishing. Looking to add an Alphas SV 105 spool in red to this reel to add just little more spool depth to it. If anyone has one please let me know. Other changes will probably include changing the 80 mm handle to a 90 mm and probably some Megabass knobs.

Sweet reel! But unfortunately it has a 32mm spool and the alphas sv 105 spool is a 33mm. Your only swap option besides a diy spool is the T3 air or ss air. I don’t think those will give you anymore capacity.

@zillywabbit would there be an advantage to using the T3 Air or SS Air reels even if the line capacity is the same as the stock Alphas Air reel?

I haven’t used any of the three but I’ve only heard good things about them for their intended uses. I guess it just depends on what platform feels the best in your hand. They’re all pretty different.
