Morethan PE TW or Zillion HD

I'm gonna say both...it's the Tackle Porn way. With the right rod, the Morethan is stunning IMO.

Normally I don't care for that shade of gold either but I have to agree that the reel looks great on the right rod (as seen above).  I liked the steez A a lot and the 8.1 morethan is like a steez A with brass gears.   I picked one up recently.  Haven't used it yet but this review sold me on the reel.

Ive become a pretty big fan of the newer zillions.  Definitely like the blacked out look of the HD the best.  Also has brass gears.  I picked up most of mine without the boost spools for a lower price so I can't comment on the stock performance.  

Anyway, sorry I'm not much help.  I'd also say the answer is get both lol.

Thanks. i read the article and i see that sale on the 7.1 but the 8 is a bit more right now... I want the 7 as its more useable to me but the 8 with the brass gears makes a better punching reel.. i slept on it and still no real conclusions lol.. 

i'll porbably step away and come back to it. not a reel i need but still a killer reel to have .

It would have been nice if the 7.1 came with brass gears too.

Ordered the 8.6:1 and its sad cause i was supposed to be doing my homework when the thought occurred to me to just by it. I have a 95mm handle coming anyways and so i have been wanting to change up the look a bit.. I ordered the reel from Jp and it will hopefully be here next week.

Thanks for your input Chris, and I look forward to what you think as you previously owned the Steez A as well.  FWIW, the article and your post indicates the Morethan 1000 PE SV as being 8.1, it's actually 8.6 (as corrected later on in the article as well).
