Whelp, I'm down to one of my last Wade's jigs in 1/4 oz green pumpkin frog hair skirt. It's impossible to find these skirts anymore but they work so well.
Anyone else have experience with "frog hair" skirts?

None, but I wish I did. Looks like a winnner…
I have approached several jig makers to see if they could mimic/copy this jig skirt color and material, and I have yet to have any luck. It's a shame that the best performing lures and components are so many times discontinued for reasons that have nothing to do with their quality or effectiveness.

@dragon1 It seems like it’s usually due to obscurity and/or lack of recognition/sales. I couldn’t agree more, though. Too many outstanding baits/etc have been killed off before they got the attention they deserved.
