Grabbed BNIB Neo Version to mate up with the Super Stallion Aurora. Working on some custom mods/dress up stuff for it. Reel feels good in hand…solid, but not as refined as Daiwa or Shim’s best, but nice. Hoping it performs well with middle-weight baits. I’ll update soon.

Been working hard on website upgrades and getting some things organized/finished in the man cave, but this is the direction I’m moving in at the moment. I’ll be doing some internal stuff as well, and I’m thinking I’ll go IK88 Racing on the handle instead of 92mm…..

I haven't followed the G-nius too close, but I see that my favorite shop just posted a
"GRAVIUS K.IMAE AURORA MC Squared"
I assume this comes with MC Squared's new double ball bearings.
So the version you got came with a KTF Neo spool V2 I assume with the IXA double ball bearings?
Just wondering.

Updated shot of the combo…finally got myself a few minutes to put the knobs on, then go back and forth with the with dress up options. Not sure I’ll leave the red accents (although I like the way they tie in with the “RS” on the SS Aurora Ltd) or if I’ll go back to the purple ZPI CCC and handle nut. Being there’s a bit of red on the mag dial, I’ll either have to tear it down and send it off to be stripped and coated or leave it and let the red bits flow through this. Whatcha guys think?

I wouldn’t change a thing. Fits perfectly with the red markings on the rod.
