@rise You are correct. This is the OG '73 Millionaire V that was a 100% knockoff of the ambassadeur complete with an emblem that looks just like Abu's. Daiwa's humble beginnings...

I'll try to upload some photos of this V compared to a '75 5H model which is after Abu made them change it up via the courts, I believe. The cool thing about the V today is that I can use abu or avail parts to mod or upgrade it because for all practical purposes it's an ambassadeur with Daiwa's name on it.

Really? I had no idea. Now I got to look for one  

I originally started buying them for my Ambassadeurs as they fit over the straight drag star. I really like the looks,and design of the handles.
