Thanks bruddah! There's also an Old School Daiwa HT1000 from Circa '85-'86 in there...this model reel was my first ever BC reel that I bought, via mail in from BPS with a 6'0" pistol grip Pro Comp glass rod combo...saved up a few months of paper route money for that acquisition and it has been a path of perpetual fishing gear addiction since.
Lol.
@dragon1 I was just going down memory lane with another enthusiast. Talking about thumbing through those thick BPS catalogs, folding over the corners of pages, and saving up our pennies for Bantam Magnumlites and pro casters….the best of times, brother…the best.

Absolutely without a doubt, and knowing that all the big name lure brands were all essentially made in America was Kool as all get out as well.
I do like looking through a few sets of brochures that I saved from the mid 1990's to the early 2000's...gives a sense of reality to relativity within space and time.
I hope and pray that our future will have as endearing a pastime for our children with tactile and connective activities that are not completely controlled and consumed by a cold digital world.
