What are y'all using? I power fish a lot of bigger heavier torque resistant baits, lots of times in fast moving water. I prefer a sticky heavier grease on my main and pinion. On my BFS and lighter tech reels I use a thinner PTFE grease.
I'm reading about calcium sulfinate mixed in with Hexagonal Boron, and then mixed with enough basic grease to make a sticky paste. Supposedly, it sticks to gears much longer and is exceedingly smooth as well on finer cut teeth like the current Gen micro module.
TIA.
@dragon1 I’m using a bunch of different ones. They each have their place. I have a full article coming that breaks down this and so many other things, based on real world testing, SDS data, manufacturers notes, and lots of other stuff. I’ve been working on this one for years.

Friggin' schuuuweeet! Looking forward to it.
Can't wait to read your findings! I switched to the SLP Works grease and I am liking it a lot.
