That’s interesting. What happened here? Do you know the story? I don’t know if ZPI updates their website, but it still states that tuning parts were discontinued. Is this an old ZPI designer reviving the manufacturing under a new offshoot?

Apparently Revive Is not legit. I’m waiting on more details, but it seems it’s a not a branch/sister company of ZPI from what my sources have recently shared.

Now I’m really intrigued by this. I browsed the insta page you posted and it would have me completely fooled if it’s not legit. They have pics of pop up booths set up next to seemingly known small companies. They have pictures of lx992rs’s in boxes labeled ‘tuned by revive’. There’s even a picture of what looks like Hirofumi Fujimoto holding one of his evergreen rods with a reel fully tuned with these revive parts. This seems kind of weird.

Yes, you can imagine how surprised I was when I was told it’s a company copying old ZPI parts. Without even asking…being the parts are so convincingly identical in looks, I had assumed Revive was an incognito branch of ZPI doing just that…”Reviving” their parts manufacturing. Apparently I was wrong in doing so and this is coming from a VERY well-connected source. I’m hoping to get more details, shortly.

Saw that. And it looks legit…even the packaging is spot-on old school ZPI aesthetics.

Verified. The parts are being made without authorization from ZPI. The tooling files are the ones that were used when ZPI was manufacturing parts, and the person making them was connected to/working with ZPI back in the day. It’s ugly, apparently…and things are complicated, according to the source. But…the Revive parts are in fact…technically…knock-offs.

@rise Dang, that's unfortunate. I was really hoping that it was a different branch of ZPI bringing back the old school parts....
