Bigger single hooks, like 3/8-3/4 oz jigs, 1/2-1 oz spinnerbaits, 2 oz max A-rigs, toads, 5-6" beast hook paddletails/swimbaits.

That rod is awesome overall in build quality, and for so many techs, to include frogs, so long as you're not in real heavy cover. For flipping, it's a little short and bit too fast for my tastes, but it may work for you.

The taper is straight up FAST, and it is a lively tip that hits a heavy powered backbone quickly.

BTW, the perforated silver HLC spool does well enough in the J-Dream with brakes at 5-7 casting 15lb Izorline Platinum. 4.5 gets iffy...need a 1/2 oz + streamlined bait that doesn't catch a lot of air.

Definitely NOT meant for DW spinnerbaits on windy days.
