I’m planning on converting a recently acquired SSSV into a 7.9 gear ratio.  
i was just informed that the drag stack has to be changed 

any idea to what and how ?

When I completed the 7.9:1 conversion in my Steez Limited SV 105XH, I needed the brass main gear and pinion from the Steez EX, and IIRC, the drag stack and metal washers as well.
