I’ve been putting some time working with the above reel and I’m for the most part I’m extremely happy with the performance. I was using the Zillion SV TW 1000 and the Zillion 10. Again, both checked off all the boxes but one and that’s why I went with the HD.
More with the SV TW 1000 than the 10, I felt it a bit more finessey than gutsy, if you get my meaning. I caught my personal LMB best of 8+ lber with the SV TW 1000, lost a 10+ at the gunnel with the Zillion 10 (the lake record is 13lbs and change). My average catch weight went from about 1.5-1.75 lbs to about double that as I’ve learned the lake. Apologies for tangent but it’s got a bit more practicality than cosmetics.
I would like to reduce the handle of the HD from 100mm to 90mm and the knobs from oversized to basic I knobs.
On part 2, gear ratios, do the main gear/pinion gear set from the SV TW 1000 fit into the HD?

Part 1) Easy enough to do, just need to purchase the 90mm handle and some knobs. Which knobs were you thinking about as replacements?
Part 2) Should be able to swap them without issue. I have both and I'm willing to try and confirm. Possibly can do so tomorrow night.

After my post, I went to do a basic handle to handle swap, Zillion 10 to Zillion TW HD. The, handle shaft nuts are different. The Zillion 10 nut has an appendage that screws into the shaft. The HD has the standard nut.

I was going to go with the SLP/RCS/I’ze 90mm carbon with I Shape red for my crankin’ set up.

Just placed an order for:
2 Hex nuts
1 90mm SLP handle
2 Red SLP I shaped knobs,
and away, we go!
