Designo DLT-C611H+R4s LTD - This is a Limited Torque Tune with Kamiya's DG7 (Level 7) Blank. Gonna Be tough to find, but this one would put many to shame.

21 Poison Glorious 170H - Tad longer than you listed, but taper, power and sensitivity are on point, plus it's somewhat easy to obtain.

P3 F6 69 Super Destroyer - Faster taper, but shines at pitchin and skippin. Tougher to find, though.

X7 Amart 71 - Again, a tad longer, but great pitchin stick. It was made for this and that X7 blank...legendary in their own right. Also tougher to find, though.

EG TKIC Super Stallion Yeah, again...at 7'1", its longer than you mention, but when it comes to a stick that"ll do so many things beautifully...the Super Stallion has earned its stripes and if you could get past the length, I think you'd like it.

Steez Racing Design 7011 HRB Jigga Stick. This Rod has proven itself VERY versatile, but has shown what its strengths in pitchin and a couple other areas. Great rod...tough to find and also longer than mentioned.

Fragment factory 68MH - This rod is rated "MH" but that couldn't be further from reality. True Heavy + rod, made for jig/bottom contact duties. This rod is stupid sensitive, a bit meaty, with a slower taper and loads up really nicely. This Rod fits all criteria you mentioned and then some. The problem is...incredibly tough to find and...not sure if its a deal-breaker for you or not, but it utilizes a Fuji ACS reel seat. Doesn't bother me any, but plenty of people don't care for them.

Designo is very unique in the way He/they rate their rods. The “1S” Designation at the end of the model number relates to taper/power. 5 being a XX-fast and 0 being the slowest, but there’s more to it than that. I’ll explain real quick. I own plenty of “4s” designations and there are a couple of them that most would deem “medium-fast” tapers, but…the power of the rod (let’s say H or H+) compensates for the slower taper, thus putting it back into a “4s” range. Those are the rods I’m picking up for pitchin duties.

That said, the rod you’re considering will be a slower taper.

Quick breakdown of the model number:

DLT-C611M/HRST1s

DLT = Designo Leben Torque Tune

C = Casting

611 = Length

M/H = Power of Tip / Butt

ST = Solid Tip

1s = Taper/Power

I use a slower taper rod for pitching most of the time (Steez RD 7011HRB/X7 Amart 71), but it’s gotta be of much heavier power to compensate for the slower taper, if that makes sense.

This rod will lend itself well to moving baits. I’d be looking for a “H” or “H+” with a 3 or 4 designation at the end.

Hope this helps in some way.

I am looking for a shorter 6.6 -6.11 rod. Would like it it very sensitive yet strong. Normally pitching 3/16- 5/16 plus trailer. I recently purchased a megabass p-5 super destroyer but sadly disappointed. The sensitivity is just not there. I was looking at a Designo Leben Torque Tune DLT 611 but can't find any info on it. Anyone know anything about this rod or have suggestions on rods that will be good for this? Thanks

Welcome to TP…🤙🏼 Yeah, unfortunately the P5 tapers have drastically changed vs. the older MB blanks. The P3 Super Destroyer is an absolute beast for these duties, but hard to find these days. That said…Can you be a little more specific on the model number of the Torque Tune you’re looking at? Designo/Kamiya produces a few 6’11” offerings, so I want to make sure taper/ratings are known before I can make any suggestions. Also, are you pitchin to heavy cover, grass, sparse stuff or all of the above?
