I just got several 4.0's and i could not find the PM chart that was used to win tourny by Mr. Brandon P. I eventually found 3 and bought all three..lol I was so excited to find them that I told the wife..lol

Anyways, I am looking forward to receiving them and seeing how it goes with them

its been out for a long time but the megabass Kanata is a rave bait now more than ever since the Bassmaster tournament on Lake Okeechobee. I will admit i brought two of them but out of curiosity and confusion i happened to find some deeper diving ones on a jdm site. i didnt know that they were different until i got them in.

My question to you all is have you ever used it? have you ever had success with it?

what was your set up and if you have used it but found something better as an alternative what is it?

I lost a BIG'UN yesterday and I don't know if it's something I did or didn't do, a tackle malfunction or a combination of the two.

The bait: RAID Japan Gi swimbait

The rod: Evergreen International Wild Shooter

The reel: JDM Steez A TW HLC 6.3

The line: Daiwa Steez Durabra Max 16lb nylon

What DIDN'T I do? I didn't feel like I had total control over the fish, like the fish was a bit too green to move from starboard to port.

I don't think I had a solid hookset. The Wild Shooter is a graphite crankin' rod. Also, I changed the hooks from stock to Gamakatsu #2 treble.

I generally use high retrieve ratio reels. I was using a 6.3. My p.b. is an 8 lb 8 oz, this fish was in that ball park, maybe over.

Anyway, any recommendations, suggestions, light wire hooks, heavy wire hooks, anything.
