Pop Max and JT110 and alike ..
was hoping for 6'10 in length..
What are you suggesting?
I have to be honest here.. I have a Shimano poison Glorious and I think I should get another. I use it with a Conquest DC for vision 110 and other JB. So i was thinking I should just get another. But I have convinced myself that I need a NRX+ CCR ( tell me why I should not get this rod please ) and Im waiting for them to be available. I only want it cause its a match to my Blue Emblem spool Steez Ltd. That being said I have the new steez on my list as well.. Ive been trying to shake this bait monkey for a while now
I should probably get a Machine gun Cast steez rod but I refuse to buy a 6'6" rod and I am not sure if the 6'10" will work.. I am running out of options so I figured I'd canvass the experts.
I do have a Steez top gun but its tooo long for my test.. 7'2" would have been ideal but 6'10' preferred. I have caught fish on it as a top water set up but there are better options

Curious…Have you tried a 6’6” or something similar in length before? What’s the reasoning behind not wanting to buy/try a shorter stick for JB or Topwater?

I was going to go with the Junk rod and I still may but I ordered the Evergreen Dire Wolf RS and the Cougar Elite RS. If they dont fit what I am looking for which changes by the minute sometimes
I am hoping that the cougar will be a great fit for my vision 110 magnums and the Dire wolf RS for my topwater baits... its been a long time researching and such..

I love the “feel” of the cougar but i really haven’t spent real time with either
