Literally a pleasure to fish with

high winds thick grass just unwanted conditions but the setup let’s you know that you’ve been bit.

@goldrod

I have one on the way...guess I'll have to get back to 1/2 oz + jigs and plastics?  I think frogs and big single hook spinnerbaits might also be good on it.

I've been using this model with my Z2020H for the 6" slow sink Trace, which is 1.65 oz and the rod easily handles this bait...I went with 20lb Sufix Elite mono to get a bit more stretch in the line as well even though this bait has pretty meaty trebles.  Also, the B74XH-F easily handles 1-1.5 oz spinnerbaits + trailer, which translates to 1.5-2oz total weights for the ones I'm using.

I also think this blank would be great for 6"-8" Magdrafts and other bigger 6"-8" Keitech Fat paddletails swimbaits with 1/2-1 oz heads, as well as 1/2-1oz deep water jigs and also heavy grass and cover.  Put on braid and it would also be a very viable frog rod...and at 4.15 oz, it is incredibly light.

Hopefully I'll get to tangle with 10-20lb+ stripers to really test it out this spring!
