What other spools have you used in the IS79 UC?  I dropped in the ZPI PG that I got from Jorrick and it feels pretty good...I'm hoping it'll make casting of jigs and plastics easier with heavier copoly/fluoro.

 

 

KTF Neo, ZPI 001, R+, Tuned SV 103….so many options.

I dig the mismatched knobs, I did that for a bit myself for some flair... definitely not for the OCD afflicted, lol.

I paired it with a TKIC Super Stallion (thanks for helping me procure this rod Greg!) yesterday and tossed a 3/8 Dark Sleeper with 14lb Sufix Siege and was able to clearly pick up bites and land two rock bass, one of them decent sized as well.  The combo handled well, and I confirmed that even a 1/2 oz spinnerbait with a size 3 Colorado and #4 willow is more resistance than what this 7.9 gearing and shorter 80 mm handle was designed for.
